About Coldplay



Coldplay are an alternative rock band formed in London, United Kingdom, in 1996. This band consists of Chris Martin as the lead singer, guitarist Jonny Buckland as the main, as a bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion as. Coldplay has released four albums throughout his career, starting with the debut album Parachutes (2000), then A Rush of Blood to the Head {2002), X & Y (2005), and albumViva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008) and the latter is a live album titled LeftRightLeftRightLeft (2009). Overall, Coldplay have achieved success through four albums with total sales reaching 33.9 million albums. Some of the single was a hit like "Yellow", "Clocks" (Record of the Year winner at the Grammy Award 2004), "The Scientist", "Speed ​​of Sound", "Fix You", and "Viva la Vida". They got a good response from the media in the album Viva La Vida Or Death and All His Friends after the album X & Y gets a bad criticism in the media. 

Style of music 
Coldplay alternative rock style has been compared to Radiohead and Oasis. Chris Martin had memprokalamsikan band's music as "limestone rock" compared to "hard rock".In Viva la Vida or Death And All His Friends, the style of this group moving in the direction of rock art, and experimented with a variety of different instruments including orchestra, piano honky-tonk and more.
